Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, please call one of the following prior to notifying us:

Additionally, Fire Extinguishers are located under the kitchen sink and in the master closet. A First Aid kit can be found in the laundry closet. An Emergency Flash Light can be found plugged into the wall in the living area.

Parking

Each cottage has been provide 2 parking spots directly in front of your cottage. Please do not use the parking for neighboring units. If additional parking is needed, this can be found in front of the Woodford Inn, just off the street.

Door Locks

Our cottages feature state-of-the-art automatic door locks for your convenience and security. Prior to your check-in time, you will receive a unique access code via text message. This code will allow you to unlock the front door during your stay.

For your safety and peace of mind, please ensure that both the front and back doors are securely locked whenever you are not occupying the cottage. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for all guests.

WiFi

The WiFi and password information can be located on the counter, inside of your cottage. Should you have any trouble connecting, please dial

House Rules

  • Smoking is NOT permitted in the house or in any of the areas around the house.

  • No parties.

  • Please respect your neighbors, no loud noise/music after 10 PM.

  • Clean up after your pets.

TV

Your cottage has been equipped with a Roku TV, making it easy for you to log into your favorite apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and more.

Bed & Bath

Additional towels, wash cloths, bedding, pillows and select toiletries can be found in the closet adjacent to the family room. For your convenience and comfort, we’ve also provided foam pillows in the closet in the event this is your preference. Please let us know if you need anything additional.

Kitchen & Dining

A Keurig coffee maker as well as K-cups are available in your cottage. We’ve also provided a supply of sugar and creamers for your enjoyment. If you prefer to brew coffee, a coffee pot is available in the pantry.

Heating & Air

Upon arrival, the temperature has been set remotely to an average temp based on the season. Should you desire your cottage to be warmer or colder, a thermostat can be found on the wall adjacent to the kitchen.

Laundry

Washer Usage:

  1. Open the washer lid and load your laundry, ensuring not to overload it for optimal cleaning performance.

  2. Add the appropriate amount of laundry detergent from the closet. If needed, you may also use bleach according to the instructions provided on the label.

  3. Select the desired wash cycle based on the fabric type and soil level.

  4. Close the lid securely and press the start button.

Dryer Usage:

  1. Once the wash cycle is complete, transfer your laundry to the dryer.

  2. Add a dryer sheet from the closet for static control and fresh scent.

  3. Set the dryer to the appropriate setting based on the fabric type.

  4. Press the start button to begin the drying process.

Additional Items:

  • A drying rack is available for items that should air dry.

  • An iron and ironing board can also be found in the closet for wrinkle removal.

Please ensure that all items are returned to their designated spots after use. A full size washer and dryer have been provided for your convenience.

Outside Areas

One of the great features of our cottages are the outside seating areas. Whether you’re enjoying the rockers on the front porch or sitting out back overlooking the newly renovated Big Spring Park, we’re certain you’ll find this to be a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or sitting outside throughout the day. Please keep in mind that these areas are shared with the adjacent cottage and so therefore, please be considerate of others.

Additionally, a community fire pit is located behind the cottages. You’re welcome to grab some firewood under the center cottage deck and enjoy a fire outside. Fire starters and lighters are available in a container adjacent to the fire wood.

Dog Policy

We're pleased to offer pet-friendly options in some of our units for some renters. If you’ve booked one of our pet-friendly cottages and you’re bringing your dog along for your stay, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Dog-Friendly Cottages: Only select cottages are designated as dog-friendly. Please ensure that your reservation is confirmed for a pet-friendly unit.

  2. Couch Cover: A couch cover has been provided to protect our furnishings. We ask that you use this cover when your dog is on the couch.

  3. Food and Water Bowls: Food and water bowls are available for your convenience. Please wash them after use to maintain cleanliness for future guests.

  4. Paw Drying Towel: A towel is provided to help dry off your dog’s paws after outdoor activities. This helps keep our cottages clean and welcoming.

  5. Supervision: Dogs should not be left unattended in the cottage for extended periods. If you plan to leave your dog behind, please ensure they are securely contained and comfortable.

  6. Leash Policy: Dogs must be leashed in common areas and should not roam freely. This ensures safety for all guests and their pets.

  7. Clean Up: Please be responsible and clean up after your dog, both in the cottage and outdoors. Waste disposal bags are available for your use.

  8. Noise Consideration: Be mindful of noise levels. Ensure your dog does not disturb neighbors, especially during evening hours.

We welcome dogs. However, we reserve the right to refuse certain breeds of dogs that are recognized as aggressive. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all our guests and staff. If you have any questions about our pet policy or to confirm whether your pet is permitted, please contact us directly. Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your cooperation in making sure all guests, both human and canine, have an enjoyable stay.

Check Out

Check-Out Procedure from the Cottage

Check out is at 10:00 AM

To ensure a smooth check-out process, please follow these steps:

  1. Towels: Place all used towels in the washing machine.

  2. Bed Linens: Leave all bed linens on the beds.

  3. Dishwasher: Run the dishwasher to clean any used dishes.

  4. Trash: Dispose of all trash by placing it in the dumpster located at the end of the drive.

  5. Doors & Windows: Before departing, ensure that all doors & windows are securely locked.
